The NMPEA is a multi-tiered assessment and awards process assisting New Mexico organizations along their path to achieving and sustaining performance excellence. Performance excellence reflects Level 1 Adobe, Level 2 Piñon, and Level 3 Roadrunner Recognitions as key stages to achieving the pinnacle of performance—earning the prestigious Level 4 Zia Award. New Mexico organizations desiring feedback on their overall organizational performance submit a self-assessment to Quality New Mexico for an in-depth review, site visit, and written feedback from a team of volunteer Examiners. Modeled after the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, Quality New Mexico’s NMPEA process is based on the time-tested Baldrige Excellence Framework® and its Criteria to guide and improve overall performance. To date, Quality New Mexico has recognized more than 800 New Mexico organizations with 14 having achieved the Zia Award, and three having achieved the Malcom Baldrige National Quality Award.

Quality New Mexico’s mission is to “Drive Performance Excellence in New Mexico.” The non-profit, 501(c)3 provides services of training, assessments, coaching, facilitations, a best practice Learning Summit, and public recognition to those who have achieved various levels of performance excellence. We see businesses and other organizations that have attained and sustained high performance every year at our annual QNM Learning Summit.  Is your organization a high-performer?  If not, how do you get started on the “Journey to Performance Excellence”?  How did these role-models organizations get started?  What are the fundamental principles of Performance Excellence that organizations should consider as they start on their “Journey”?

This half-day interactive workshop will address these questions while providing insight into those key principles to help your organization get started on your Journey to Performance Excellence.  We will then have a networking mixer where you will have the opportunity to share ideas and get to know others who are on their own organizational journeys.

Thank you to the Los Alamos National Laboratory Foundation for sponsoring this event!  We greatly appreciate it.

Thank you all very much!  Hope you can join us.
